Yes, I’m dreaming of perfect white sand beaches and crystal clear, teal blue water, but my wallet is my wake up call. Initially, I know that I cannot take a spur of the moment trip to Aruba, but there are some travel sites out there that are trying to make traveling possible for the wallet weary traveler.
How much do you think that a night’s stay at a luxury beach in Costa Rica would cost? A good arm and a leg, right? Well I’ve found that a one night stay at the Hotel Banana Azul in Costa Rica is only $69 a night. Can you believe that? The Hotel Banana Azul is a 14 room retreat on a black sand strand, with tropical impressions dominating every room for a very laid back feel. The price is great, it’s just airfare and immunization that’ll get you.
Another location that’s right in the US is Ka’awa Loa Plantation & Guesthouse in Hawaii. This luxury resort is priced at $125 a night. You can’t stay at some of our local luxury hotels for that price! For $125 a night, you’re privileged to panoramic views of Kealakekua Bay. A breakfast of eggs, fresh star fruit, and coffee grown on site is served on the 2,000-square-foot wraparound porch. The nearby lava-rock beaches, Kealakekua and Puuhonua O Honaunau, are known for the best snorkeling on the Big Island. This is mainly for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and just want to relax in this 5 bedroom B&B.
As the Spring and Summer months are quickly approaching, I’m beginning to plan my vacation now. With the way these prices are looking, I don’t think that my wallet will cry too much. : Hey, you’re entitled to treating yourself every now and then right?
What about you? Do you think that these are good deals? Where are you going for your vacation?
