Have you been to the Memphis Botanic Garden lately? They’ve got a slew of events lined up for the whole family. July, for example, has events every single day, most days with four or more going on. Activities that start or started in July include:
Delicious Dining Days (July 1-29)
Second Nature Art Exhibit (July 1-31)
Weekly Painting Classes with Marilyn Wannamaker (July 7-August 20)
Caterpillar Club Camp-Gardening A-Z (July 11-15)
Brown Bag Lunch and Learn (July 13)
Ikebana Floral Design Classes (July 15)
Sprinkler Day (July 16)
Backyard Paint Party with Alla Prima (July 16)
Great Gardens of the World: Middleton Place, South Carolina (July 17)
Nature Scene Investigators Summer Camp (July 18-22)
Live at the Garden Concert Series – Huey Lewis and the News (July 22)
Fusion – Enameling on Silver Clay (July 23)
Not a bad assortment, eh? I should remind you that this is just July’s schedule. There are even more events that started earlier and continue throughout the month, and the months ahead are pretty packed with activities, too.
Are you going to one or more of these events this summer? If you do go, check back in and let us know if you liked it.
