Lunch is a time to unwind and decompress a little before finishing the work day, so why not get away for a little bit and visit Court Square for free entertainment? The Downtown Alive on-street performance series presents talented musicians to celebrate Memphis’ creative spirit.

Performances will take place between 11:45 and 1 pm, so no matter when you take your lunch (unless you take it REALLY late), you can catch at least a song or two.  Bring your lunch along and some of your coworkers if they’re up for it.  You can also bring your kids along! Set up your lawn chairs and get ready to listen to quality performances!

Friday, June 24^th: Rockin’ the Runway (with live performances from Sachë and the Lisa Lax Agency)

Tuesday, June 28^th: Live From Memphis Showcase: Carnival of Arts (art-related activities for adults & kids including a photo booth, live music, and free caricatures)

Wednesday, June 29^th: Neosoulsville Showcase: The Word (featuring WordPLAY and other Memphis area singers and poets)
